WHY LISTEN TO NEUPHORIA?
Studies show that most people form their music tastes between the ages of 15 and 25, rarely exploring beyond the same artists and genres afterward. This means many listeners miss out on a world of fresh new music.
I have always loved the rush of hearing brand new music- and sharing it with others. There has never been a more exciting time for new music geeks like me, with Spotify introducing 18 million new songs from around the globe in 2024. However that volume is likely overwhelming to most listeners.

Music platforms attempt to simplify this issue with curation algorithms, assuming that us listeners are predictable, but those just reinforce listening to similar sounds and genres. Current internet silos tend to reinforce such reductive listening patterns- further removing us from the common experience that popular radio and Top 40 countdowns used to provide.

Neuphoria’s goal is to curate those 1 million plus new monthly songs down to a short playlist that is genre agnostic. Not unlike past popular radio, Neuphoria also has a bias toward global popular culture trends.
